Sharing a DOT = Dusty Old Thing

Another dusty old thing from my Vintage Stash O' Stuff.  It's a carved frame with curved glass displaying an old print.  I have two of these frames, but the prints are no longer with us.  When I disassembled the frames to clean them, my paper-loving cat got to the prints and tore them to pieces.  Sigh. But the carving along the frame are amazing.

Been thinking of placing some photos in these and maybe repainting them....not sure, but they're too pretty to leave unused. Got any ideas?

Sharing this DOT at Rubbish by Roan.  I've been a bit under the weather, so I might not be posting much, but will try.  In the meantime, have a great week, Everyone.

Until next time ....

  5. DOT--love that! As well as Vintage Stash of Stuff! Beautiful old frames. No, don't paint them! They are gorgeous showing the warmth of the wood! And its a shame you lost the prints to the kitty, but old photos would really be great in these!

  7. Those frames are AMAZING! Of course you need to put something wonderful in them and hang them on a wall. Show us what you end up doing with them, please!

  8. Love that frame! Do you have any old family pictures? I have a pic of my grandmother on her wedding day back in the early 1900s. Something like that would fit that frame well.

  10. Those are very pretty. I wouldn't paint them, but I'm not into the paint-all-wood fad. They're yours. Make yourself happy. Feel better, too.
