I have no idea what this is or where it is, but I think this is such a cool picture.  Daughter, Katie, took this one somewhere in Europe.  Maybe she remembers and will leave a comment....hint, hint, nudge, nudge.

  6. She was in England, Ireland, Franceand Amsterdam, so it has to be from one of those places. I really like the browns and golds against the black.

  7. An imposing structure. Can you imagine what it must have been like building something like that hundreds of years ago. Just read "Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett about just such an enterprise. Quite amazing.
