Home again, another trip

So, I planned on posting pictures of my latest project, but got bored re-reading the posting...so, instead I decided to show ya'll a few pictures I just finished editing from our recent trip to Florida.  Hope you enjoy....

We came home last week from a vacation along the Gulf Coast just to get away from all the good weather here in Central Ohio.  Lee found this little bed and breakfast situated on an estuary dotted with mangrove glades, and talked me into taking a few days off.  It was a wonderful place to watch wildlife, and the nearby town was loaded with little gift shops and galleries.  It was so cool to enjoy the sunrise and then breakfast on the deck overlooking the waters every morning and enjoying spectacular sunsets every evening. 

We've been going to Florida for years to visit his parents, but it has always been in the miserable summer heat when the kids got out of school.  This was our first trip during the pleasant wintertime.  Now I know why folks retire to Florida....it's really really nice weather in the winter months....like Springtime up North.  Yeah, this may have to happen again :) 

I do have some sewing things to share that I think you may like to see.  I'll give it another try later this week and see if I can't pull my thoughts together better.
