Fell down, Went boom

Two weeks ago I slipped on a patch of ice and fell....nothing broke, just yoinked, so I was really lucky.  However, I did wrench my right shoulder and arm pretty well, and it has limited my range of motion and pleasant attitude.  As a result, I've been sorely absent from blogging and sewing, and I felt I owed you an explanation.  I'm feeling much better, with the remaining pain limited to my shoulder now, so I'm back sewing again...Yay!   I have much to catch up on, so the posting will have to wait until I get more current on my projects.

My daughter, the soccer goalie, was with me at the time I fell, and she said I landed like a pro ... she should know :)  She also is an athletic trainer for her college soccer and basketball teams, so she been a good resource on treating my bruises and pulled muscles.  She's now fondly known around here as The Ice Queen.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know why I've been absent and assure you I'll be back to regular blogging just as soon as I can.

  2. Ouch! I'm so sorry you've been hurt!!! Good thing you have a trainer in your home. I hope you didn't damage the rotator cuff. I hear that can be really painful and hard to recover from. Thanks for the link to the tutorial on the narrow hem corners. That's always a problem.
