Sewing Projects on the Agenda

Like everyone else, I'm looking ahead with gusto to many new projects in 2011.  One of the 1st things I hope to attack is the T-shirt Quilt I've talked about before.  You may recall that I made this for my daughter who was away at school.  Well, she's home now, and using the quilt without the benefit of the binding!  Yikes!  So, that is upper-most on my list.  I plan on finishing this project this coming week, so she'll have the completed quilt to use by next Saturday.

I also hope to be participating in Allie oops' Christmas Through the Year project.  The idea is to make a gift a month for our loved ones so that we'll be ready for Christmas next year and thereby reducing some of the stress associated with gift-giving.  She'll be sharing our projects and providing ideas along the way.  If you'd like to join in, just click on the button along the side, or follow the link in this paragraph.  Just like Santa, I'm making a list...

  1. Yikes - using it without the binding, that's not good, lol! So did you finish your list? I haven't figured out what I'm going to make yet...guess I should get a move on!

  2. LOL I'm focusing on my unfinished stuff right now, but I bought some wonderful fabric from Gorgeous Fabrics a year ago and of course the Hawaiian prints. I envision camp shirts and sundresses and a couple of "big" shirts and a pencil skirt. We'll see how it works out in reality, though ;)
