Kindle Pouch for February's CTY

This week end I’ve been doing some preliminary work on next month’s Christmas Through the Year project.

My future daughter-in-law received a new kindle for Christmas, so I’m making her an embroidered Kindle pouch.  She studied Russian Literature in College and loves everything Russian.  I found an embroidery font in Russian, so I’m hopeful I can get something Russian to embroider out well on the pouch.  I haven’t quite decided on what phrase to embroider on it, yet, but I hope to find out soon.  I’ve set several family members onto the search of secretly finding one her favorite writer.
So, there is a confederacy of conspirators running rampant within the family, as I continue to try to get my embroidery module to sew out a preliminary design…

  2. What a wonderful gift! Especially putting the Russian on it. Who is her favorite author? My undergraduate degree was in Russian/Slavic Studies way back in the dark ages of Soviet rule :)
