I first made this simple T-shirt. This is New Look 6787. It's a long T, so it appears to look more like a dress, but it was for my very tall daughter, Katie.
This is a wonderful project for the new sewist who would like to try their hand at a "stretchy" fabric. Sewing with 2-way or 4-way stretch fabric can be done easily with a serger. If you don't have a serger, you can use a double needle in your regular sewing machine. Choose a needle that is labeled as "stretch". It will have a balled point so it can slip through the fibers without puncturing them.
